Bio-banking (Plant, Human, Microbes)
GBRC offers identification of bacterial and fungal cultures to students, research scholars and academia. We store the cultures at GBRC in the form of glycerol stocks, lyophilized vials and routinely perform the subculturing of important isolates. For the storage of microbial cultures laboratories are equipped with lyophilizer, -20, -40 and -80 degree freezers, control rate freezer and Cryo preservation system.
